Bruce D. Hinchley, CPA
Founder
Bruce founded Hinchley & Company in October 1998. As president of our established firm, Bruce is responsible for all aspects of corporate operation at Hinchley & Company but spends most of his time with clients individually.
Bruce is dedicated to learning his clients’ financial goals and dreams as well as their current financial condition. He prepares a proprietary financial plan, which examines the five interdependent financial planning areas — investment planning, insurance protection, tax planning, estate and legal planning, and debt analysis and management. He outlines each client’s unique strengths and weaknesses, then gives specific and clear recommendations relevant to the client’s plan. Most clients appreciate this tailor-made and holistic approach to financial planning.
Bruce earned his Bachelor of Arts in business administration and accounting in 1989 at the University of St. Thomas in St. Paul, Minnesota. He is licensed as a certified public accountant with over 23 years of experience in tax and financial services. He is also an investment advisor representative (Series 65) for Hinchley Advisory Group, LLC, a registered investment advisor with the state of Colorado. He holds licenses in life, health, and accident insurance.
In his spare time, Bruce enjoys playing hockey, following the Colorado Avalanche (he is a huge Nathan MacKinnon fan), fitness, and spending quality time with his four children.
Tim Buka
Investment Advisory Services Administrator
Tim is the investment advisory services administrator for Hinchley Advisory Group, LLC. He works closely with clients making sure that necessary disclosures are provided, and that all documents of engagement are on file and in good order. In addition, he oversees the opening, and ongoing administration, of client custodial accounts at TD Ameritrade Institutional.
Tim is a third generation Denverite. After moving to Michigan and graduating from Western Michigan University, he returned to the local area where he has lived since. Tim began working for Hinchley & Company in June of 1999. He is a caring, loyal, and proud member of the firm.
In his spare time, Tim enjoys flying radio-controlled conventional single rotor model helicopters. He belongs to the Denver RC Eagles and flies out of Suhaka Field at Cherry Creek State Park. Tim finds flying RC helicopters both challenging and exciting. He says, “It is a real stress reliever when I am on the sticks and focused on the only important matter at hand for the next six minutes.” Tim also enjoys all kinds of automotive racing sports.
Tatyana Kim
CPA
Tatyana started at Hinchley & Company in September 2023. She holds bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting and earned her CPA certification in 2023, showcasing her commitment to staying current with industry standards and regulations. Tatyana is known for her exceptional problem-solving abilities, attention to detail, and client-centered approach. She is passionate about helping individuals and businesses maximize their financial potential while adhering to ethical and legal standards. Outside of her professional career, Tatyana enjoys spending time with her family, taking fitness classes, reading books, and baking.
Oliver Hinchley
Financial Administrator
Oliver joined Hinchley & Company in November 2023. He is a dedicated financial professional with a passion for helping individuals and businesses achieve their financial goals. With a strong foundation in financial principles, Oliver is currently on the path to becoming an investment advisor. His strategic mindset and creative problem-solving skills make him adept at identifying opportunities and developing tailored investment strategies to maximize returns while managing risk. In his free time, Oliver enjoys playing and making music, hanging with his dog Aurra, and hitting the ice to play hockey.
Danette Rasmussen
Life Insurance Administrator & Office Manager
Danette joined Hinchley & Company in December 2013. She is the life insurance and office administrator. She has been in the administrative field for over 20 years. Danette is a Colorado native and was raised in Greenwood Village. She enjoys spending time with her family and is very proud of her son, who is a United States Marine (Oorah!). Danette has a passion for animals and enjoys volunteering for local animal shelters, reading books, watching UFC, cooking, and being crafty.
